Ben Engelman: The House Whisperer, Chief Go Getter, Head of Comic Relief

Anyone who thinks real estate agents are stuffy clearly hasn't met Ben Engelman. His enthusiasm for helping people sell their house or build their dream home would make you think you're on the next episode of an HGTV reality show. Don't be fooled by hs goofball exterior and entertaining Snapchats. He's a tenacious negotiator, going the extra mile and advocating for his clients and making sure they get the best deal possible. He's an all around good time, but he also brings an ambitious zeal to get the job done. 

Ben started out his career serving our country in the Navy. While this helped him develop the mindset of a workhorse and a systematic approach to projects, after five years, he and his wife Teresa decided to come home to Ames. Before stepping into real estate, Ben owned a building service contracting firm, where he was able to hone is talents in leaderships, negotiation, and customer satisfaction. 

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, whether that's cheering on the Cyclones, going on vacation with his four kiddos, or just hanging out at home. At the center of all Ben does, is a love for people. He's on of the easiest guys to talk to, whether you're looking to sell or build your house or just run into him around town.
